AIDA Method

AIDA is a marketing method. It is a way for the gradual, phased and efficient operation of the promotion or advertising of a product. It consists of four phases (AIDA name is actually an acronym of the initials):

  • A - Attention - to draw an attention to the product information
  • I - Interest - to arouse the interest in the product (a deliberate and conscious attention)
  • D - Desire - there is a desire, interest, wish and the decision to own the product
  • A - Action - a call to the action to purchase

Sometimes, it is added the fifth phase - S for Satisfaction. The customer is satisfied and in addition he may also recommend the product further (see WOMM).
